YHS Production GmbH is a Swiss-registered Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (limited liability company) based in Wil, Canton St. Gallen. Our operation combines food-grade production capability, corrugated and cardboard manufacturing, and an active wholesale and retail trade arm — all under a single legal entity with full Swiss commercial registry standing.

The company serves industrial, retail and e-commerce clients across Switzerland and the wider European Union. Direct manufacturer relationships, framework supply agreements, and contract-manufacturing arrangements form the backbone of our partner network.

What we manufacture

Our core production covers ten construction families of corrugated and folding-carton packaging, from single-wall shipping boxes to triple-wall industrial heavy-duty cartons. Each line is produced against documented EU and ISO standards, with batch traceability, ECT, burst and migration data supplied with every order where required by the client's compliance regime.

Beyond stock constructions, we operate a custom-dieline programme covering digital, flexographic and offset-litho printing, with in-house pre-press, colour proofing under CIE-D50 conditions, and ISO 12647-2 press calibration for retail-shelf packaging.

B2B packaging services

YHS Production is a B2B supplier. We do not retail single units to end consumers. Our supply model covers three engagement tiers: spot orders against our published catalogue, multi-year framework contracts with negotiated pricing and lead times, and contract-manufacturing relationships for clients requiring dedicated SKUs, vendor-managed inventory, or consigned pallets at their fulfilment centres.

All B2B clients work with a named account manager and receive consolidated monthly invoicing, full VAT documentation, and shipment-level packing manifests for downstream customs and compliance use.

International operations

From our Wil SG production hub, we ship to all EU member states, EFTA countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), and the United Kingdom. Standard incoterms are EXW, FCA, DAP and DDP; container loads and intermodal shipping are arranged on request through our logistics partners in Zurich, Basel and Konstanz.

Customs documentation, EUR.1 movement certificates, and country-of-origin declarations are prepared in-house. For non-EU export, we coordinate ISPM 15 paperwork or supply our wood-free heavy-duty cartons as an alternative to wooden crating.

Sustainability commitments

YHS Production sources predominantly FSC Mix Credit certified board. Our kraft and corrugated streams are fully recyclable in standard European paper recycling channels. Where food-contact, oxygen or grease barriers are required, we offer mono-material recyclable alternatives — PFAS-free liners, PLA bio-coatings, and aqueous coatings that do not interfere with end-of-life recovery.

We are working toward complete documentation of our carbon footprint per produced ton, with the goal of including verified Scope 1 and Scope 2 figures on every quotation by 2027.
